Frequently Asked Questions

Are any other aircraft available?

The displays on this website are for a single display by David Jenkins in the Edge 360. We can help add displays by Pitts specials, Yaks and a variety of historic and ex military aircraft from Austers to P51 Mustangs and Spitfires.

Is it environmentally friendly?

We use environmentally friendly oil to make the smoke. Gone are the days of using cheap diesel which smells and is carcinogenic

How long does the display last? The display lasts about 7-9 minutes. We find this is the optimum time to maintain interest in an audience.

Where can you display?

Generally, we cannot display over any built up area. That said, we often find a way of displaying if there is any open space nearby, so we offer a free site evaluation.

Just contact us with your postcode and we'll take a look on Google Earth

What happens if the weather is bad?

We can provide a low level display if the cloud is too low for the full aerobatic display.

However if the cloud is very low or if it is raining then the display organiser has a couple of options:

A) We can reschedule for another time or day.

B) They can cancel.

Normally we can get an accurate weather forecast 24 hrs ahead and will discuss the options if a full display isn’t looking possible

What is included in the cost

Our quote will include all the costs for your display, including Civil Aviation Authority fees. There are no hidden extras

Why does it cost so little?

We do not make any profit on our displays and the pilot does not make any charge. This allows us to offer them at a breakeven price.

For aerobatic displays the Edge is the optimum combination of performance, spectacle and price
